From the Director’s Desk
Volunteers Are the Heartbeat of Downtown
As we move toward the end of 2007, we offer our thanks to the countless
volunteers who make downtown a better place to shop, dine,
work and play. Just take a moment to think of all the
cultural activities which happen downtown – ballet,
performances at the Grand and Legion theatres, tours of the
Booth Western Art Museum, activities sponsored by the
History Center, and the list goes on. All are made possible
through the efforts of volunteers to lead tours, direct
visitors, teach dancers, prompt actors, and paint stage
scenes.
